Curriculum Vitae:

Mr. Li Wei, a Han national, was born in August 1953. He is a member of the Communist Party of China (CPC).

He started his career in March 1969, and he had successively held the posts of:

Director (Vice Minister level) of the Premier's Office of the State Council;

Deputy Director (Vice Minister level) of the Research Office of the State Council, and Member of the CPC Leadership Group of the Research Office of the State Council;

Deputy Secretary of the CPC Financial Working Commission;

Vice Chairman of China Banking Regulatory Commission (CBRC) and Member of CBRC CPC Committee;

At present, Mr. Li Wei is the Deputy Party Secretary of SASAC CPC Committee and the Vice Chairman of SASAC.

 

Mr. Li Wei presides over the General Office (Office of CPC Committee), the Bureau of Property Right Management and the Bureau of Enterprise Restructuring (National Office for Enterprise Mergers and Bankruptcies and Resettlement of Laid-off Workers).
