Curriculum Vitae:
Mr. Shao Ning was born in July 1952 in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province. He is a CPC member and has a master degree.
In January 1969, he was sent to Yan’an, Shann’xi Province to accept reeducation. He went to Qinghua University in April 1978 majoring in mechanical engineering and got the Bachelor degree of Science and master degree there. After graduation, he worked in the General Office of the State Economic Commission, and then in the Bureau of General Economic Affairs of the State Economic Commission.
After the institutional reshuffle in 1988, in the State Planning Commission, he successively held the posts of Deputy Director of the Department of General Economic Affairs, Deputy Director and Director in the aggregate group, Economic Research Center, and Deputy Director-General of the Aggregate Research Center, Macro-economic Research Institute. In 1996, he was transferred to the State Economic and Trade Commission (SETC) as the Deputy Director-General and Director-General of the Department of Enterprises. Later, he was the Director-General of the Department of Enterprise Reform and Deputy Secretary-General of SETC.
In May 2003, Mr. Shao Ning was appointed Vice Chairman of SASAC and Deputy Secretary of SASAC CPC Committee.
Mr. Shao Ning oversees of the Bureau of Enterprise Reform, the Bureau of Enterprise Restructuring, the Bureau of Research (Contact Office of Industrial Associations), and the Economic Research Center.
