Curriculum Vitae:

Mr. Qiang Weidong, a Han national, was born in Dacheng, Hebei Province in March 1953. He is a CPC member and a postgraduate of the Party School of the CPC Central Committee.
 

He started his career in June 1970 and worked successively in Unit 0503 of the People’s Liberation Army (as a soldier), Factory 602 of the State Administration of Geology and the High Court of Railway Transportation. He worked in the Ministry of Supervision from 1987 as Section Chief, Deputy Division Chief and Division Chief. From 1993, he held the posts of Division Chief and then Deputy Director-General of the Fourth Office of Discipline Inspection and Supervision of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection of the CPC, and in June 2003 he was appointed Director-General of the First Office. In February 2008, he was appointed Director-General (vice ministerial level) of the Inspection Office of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection of the CPC and the Central Organizational Department.
 

Currently, Mr. Qiang Weidong is Member of SASAC CPC Committee and Secretary of the Discipline Inspection Committee of SASAC.
 

Mr. Qiang Weidong presides over the work of the Discipline Inspection Committee of SASAC, and oversees the Supervisory Bureau dispatched to SASAC by the Ministry of Supervision and the Inspection Office of SASAC.
