Shao Ning Held Talks with Dr. Geoff Raby, Australian Ambassador to China

On Jan. 10, SASAC Vice Chairman Shao Ning held talks with Dr. Geoff Raby, Australian Ambassador to China and Mr. Mike Smith, CEO of Australia and New Zealand Banking Group Ltd.(ANZ). Mr. Shao Ning pointed out that the cooperation between Chinese and Australian companies in various areas have great potential. He suggested ANZ should build up strategic partnership with China's central SOEs and facilitate their Going Global Strategy with quality services. Both Dr. Geoff Raby and Mr. Mike Smith highly complimented the significant steps in China's SOE reform where SASAC has been playing a vital part, as well as the outstanding achievements which have shown dramatic improvement in the quality of State-owned assets.
