On February 20, 2008, Mr. Li Shousheng met with Mr. Fernando Reyes Matta, Chile’s Ambassador to China.

Mr. Li Shousheng introduced the functions and responsibilities of SASAC, the status of the central SOEs in the national economy and the measures adopted by SASAC since its establishment to push forward the reform of the state-owned assets management system and the reform and development of SOEs. Mr. Matta introduced the social security system of Chile. The two sides also exchanged views on cooperation among Chinese and Chilean enterprises.
