Chairman Li Rongrong Met with Dr. Juergen Hambrecht,
 Chairman of BASF

On March 24, 2008, Chairman Li Rongrong met with Dr. Juergen Hambrecht, Chairman of BASF.

Dr. Juergen Hambrecht said that the Nanjing BYC project, a joint-venture by BASF and Sinopec had developed successfully with a record profit in 2007, and that BASF’s other projects in Shanghai and Chongqing were also carried out smoothly. Dr. Hambrecht pays close attention to SASAC’s work and the development of central SOEs. When talking about the measure which requires central SOEs to pay dividends, Dr. Hambrecht said that this measure had positive meaning and impact. The two sides also exchanged views on the economic development of the world and other issues.
