SASAC Chairman Li Rongrong met with Mr. Susumu Kato, President and Chief Executive Officer of Sumitomo Corporation

On June 23, SASAC Chairman Li Rongrong met with Mr. Susumu Kato, President and Chief Executive Officer of Sumitomo Corporation. Mr. Susumu Kato expressed his condolence to Wenchuan County of Sichuan Province and the disaster-affected central SOEs, and showed his respect to central SOEs for their efforts in the disaster-relief and reconstruction. Mr. Susumu Kato said that Sumitomo Corporation would continue to offer help and support to the disaster-affected areas. Mr. Li Rongrong thanked Sumitomo Corporation for its donation. During the meeting, Mr. Susumu Kato also gave a brief introduction on the investment of Sumitomo Corporation in China, and expressed his wishes to expand the cooperation with Chinese central SOEs.
