SASAC Vice Chairman Shao Ning met with Mr. Bruce Turner, Deputy Director-General of Australia QLD Primary Industries and Fisheries

On Jun 5, SASAC Vice Chairman Shao Ning met with an Australian Civil Servants Delegation, headed by Mr. Bruce Turner, Deputy Director-General of Australia QLD Primary Industries and Fisheries. Mr. Shao Ning briefed on the role of SASAC, how it fulfilled its role, and what it had done since its foundation in 2003. Mr. Shao Ning also answered the questions raised by the Australian part, covering SOE reform, corporate governance of Central SOEs, recruitment of senior management of Central SOEs, as well as corporate social responsibilities. Both sides also exchanged views about the impact of the current financial crisis on world economy.
