Chairman Li Rongrong met with Mr. Jim Quigley, CEO of Deloitte and Mr. Robert Kimmitt, former U.S. Deputy Secretary of the Treasury

On July 15, Chairman Li Rongrong met with Mr. Jim Quigley, CEO of Deloitte, and Mr. Robert Kimmitt, former U.S. Deputy Secretary of the Treasury, Deloitte’s senior adviser and Chairman of Cross-Border Investment Center.
 
Mr. Quigley and Mr. Kimmitt as well as senior experts from Deloitte delivered detailed presentations on the following five subjects: the trend of global economy, the deep-seated causes of the current financial crisis, the problems in American business compensation models, how should Chinese companies manage risks during globalization and the impacts that the financial crisis had on the accounting profession.

The two sides also exchanged in-depth ideas on how to improve corporate governance, design rational compensation models, and strengthen corporate risk management, etc..
