33 Central SOEs Made Donations to Typhoon Morakot-Hit Areas in Taiwan

In early August of 2009, Taiwan was hit by the most severe flood of last 50 years. On the afternoon of August 12, Association for Relations across the Taiwan Straits (ARATS), together with its council members, performed ceremony to make donations to typhoon-hit areas in Taiwan. More than 10 Central SOEs attended and made donations at the first time. Up to the early September, 33 Central SOEs had donated altogether RMB 204,150,000, HKD 5,000,000, and TWD 20,000,000 to the disaster area in Taiwan via ARATS.
