Vice Chairman Huang Shuhe Met with President of IMD

On October 21, Vice Chairman Huang Shuhe met with Mr. John R. Wells, President of International Institute for Management Development (IMD), Lausanne, Switzerland. Mr. John R. Wells introduced the teaching philosophy of IMD, its advantages in training top-executives and cooperation with the Chinese government and Central SOEs. He also expressed the hope to offer more training programs to Central SOEs. Mr. Huang Shuhe pointed out that Chinese Central SOEs are now in the stage of strategic transformation and are in need of absorbing advanced managerial expertise and strengthening cooperation with world-class training institutes. He suggested that training courses be more targeted, meaningful and efficient.
