Former French President Sent the Letter of Condolence to SASAC

On May 20, H.E. Mr. Valery Giscard d’Estaing, the former French President, wrote to Chairman Li Rongrong, lamenting the heavy losses of lives caused by the devastating earthquake in Wenchuan County of Sichuan Province, and expressing his condolences to China’s central SOEs for their huge losses and damages in the earthquake.

Mr. d’Estaing also went to the Chinese embassy in Paris to offer his condolences in the morning of May 20.
